Mr
Smith connects to the RANCH website
and logins with his user account. |
To submit his project,
he enters
his scene’s parameters, his credit
card information, and uploads his scene (.vum archive - please see the Renderfarm User Guide for details)
to the renderfarm. |
The project enters
the waiting list, or is directly rendered
if first in line. |
When the rendering
of the project begins, a first e-mail
is sent to Mr Smith.
While his project is rendering, Mr Smith can check its status on the online waiting list.
When it is finished, Mr Smith receives three e-mails. One is sent by our renderfarm server and confirms
the end of the rendering. The other e-mails are sent by our web server. The first contains the link to the final payment page.
When the payment is done, the last e-mail sent contains the necessary information to download the files
(ftp server to contact, project directory, project account and password). |
Mr Smith connects to
our ftp server with his favorite ftp
client (we recommend FileZilla) and
downloads his files (final cooperative MXI and image for stills, image frames for animations). |
| |
Each project is assigned a temporary
ftp account and directory. Mr Smith
has 5 days to download his files before
the project account expires. |
