"GREAT SERVICE & SUPPORT!
With Ranch Computing we solved all timing-related problems. Processes that in our
Studio would render in five days, Ranch rendered all in a couple of hours.. so
gaining good and useful time before delivery to our client. But it is not only the
incredible rendering speed and the power of Ranch: we found an easy web interface, fast
data transfers, great job remote monitoring, professional & personal support,
instant mail communications and perfect prices with no bad surprises.
And now that we have the final images on our local drives we can really say: “there’s no
doubt we made the right choice sending our project to Ranch” (and … I gain five nights
of good dreams, far away from deadline pain! This is very important!!).

"I love the RANCH!
My client wanted the photorealistic quality
Maxwell offers, but the project required 22 large high res still renderings in 3 days.
I knew there was no way I could complete 22 renderings, even using all three of my
multi-processor workstations by the deadline. I must admit, I was more than a little
nervous about turning over a large project for one of my biggest clients with a company
I hadn't worked with in the past. As it turned out my concerns where unfounded, because
Julien was unbelievably helpful, friendly, and extremely patient.
Needless to say, I was
able to meet the deadline! The queue system worked fantastic, (even when a couple of
animations jumped in ahead of some of my images) and I was able to concentrate on
modeling the remaining project while "The Ranch" was cranking out my images.
I like the fact that by having the full resource of the render farm for each project,
I have good idea of what the cost of each image I upload will be.
I look forward to
offering my clients the opportunity to have "Maxwell" quality images for all of their
presentations. My only wish is that "the Ranch" will soon figure out a way to
simplify uploading multiple views to render within a single project, which would speed up
the upload process. But considering the GREAT service they provide to designers &
animators like me, this is a small price to pay. (No pun intended.)"

Firstly, what a fantastic service [...] The upload methods are painless,
as is the retrieval of rendered files once the job is complete [...] a concise
and competitive quote for an urgent job I had to render, allowing me to meet an insane
deadline, which would have been impossible on our own render farm [...] I was slightly
worried about the full automation of the system, but it works really well and means
that once the files are uploaded, you can go get some sleep, safe in the knowledge
that your render has joined the queue and will commence when the current job has finished [...]

"Now this is comfortable! A huge MaxwellMonsterMachine of 160GHz right at my fingertip.
Just as easy as if I'd handle an external USB harddisk. Nearly realtime control of my job
queue, E-Mails when jobs begin, end, and where I could get them...
everything fully automatic...
I fear, I'm getting used to it. Addictive service, that is!"
