THE RANCH/
WELCOME

Welcome to the RANCH renderfarm!
The first entirely automated rendering service optimized for Indigo.

RANCH is a computing network for 3D rendering, offering an efficient, secure and easy to use rendering service for Indigo renderer from Glare Technologies Limited (www.indigorenderer.com). We can render your still images cooperatively, or multiple MXS frames of an animation, for the best price on the market!

Our system is automated, runs 24 hours a day, and is very user-friendly. Before submitting your scene, you will have to read the RANCH Renderfarm User Guide (direct download link on the left of this page). Please read it carefully before uploading your project. While it is being rendered, you can check its status in the online waiting list. When it is finished, your files are made available for download on our secure FTP server.

Our renderfarm is composed of powerful 64-bit render nodes (with 8 GB RAM) based on Intel Core 2 Quad / Extreme CPU technology. Our server is a 64-bit dual Opteron dual core machine with 16 GB RAM. To see benchmark results and compare the performance of our renderfarm with the performance of the hardware you use daily, please go to the Benchmarks page.

The projects, or jobs, are processed in a ‘first-in first-out’ order, with a waiting list for following projects. All registered users can view the waiting list status in real time.

If you need detailed information on how our renderfarm works, we recommend that you download the RANCH Renderfarm User Guide in PDF format.

If you want to know more about what makes the RANCH unique, and learn about renderfarming concepts (queued versus shared, how to evaluate the real performance behind the displayed GHz), then we believe you will find the PDF RANCH Philosophy document an interesting read.

Thank you for visiting the RANCH, we hope to count you soon among our customers.

The RANCH team.
