FRAMANIP is a free animation and image viewer specifically designed for 3D animators.
It displays individual frame sequences in real time (NOT compressed video sequences).
It is designed to be very fast and easy to use, ideal for checking all the frames of a just rendered 3D animation. It is able to read BMP, TGA, TIF, PNG and JPG frame sequences.

FRAMANIP is compatible with Windows XP and Vista (32-bit / 64-bit). However, it is for now only available as a 32-bit program, thus subject to the 2 GB memory access limit of any 32-bit application. A 64-bit version may be released at some point in the future.

FRAMANIP 32-bit is a free program. You can give it to your friends freely. It cannot be sold, in any way or form, and cannot be redistributed from another web site other than the RANCH Computing web site without an explicit permission of the author.

* What can FRAMANIP do?

Display any BMP, TGA, TIF, PNG or JPG frame sequence at any speed, from one frame per second (fps) to the maximum number of fps achievable on the host computer.
Display a sequence at a lower/higher definition than its native definition (max size = size of the destop).
Play the sequence backward or forward in a loop.
Display the sequence frame by frame, forward or backward, by using the mouse wheel.
Display the sequence every nth frame to speed up browsing (Shift Scroll).
Go directly to the first frame, the last frame or any frame in between.
Display in real time the current fps speed value, and the name, number and definition of the frames.
Display the maximum fps achievable on the used computer (benchmark mode)
Increase or decrease the display speed progressively when the sequence is playing.
Show a mosaic (or overview) of the entire animation on one or several screens. The user can specify the number of frames / thumbnails he wants to see on a single screen.
Display individual BMP, TGA, TIF, PNG or JPG images, just like a simple Image Viewer.
