  •   In my view, there is no equivalent to the RANCH as far as price is concerned. But the main advantage is that you know that when your project is rendering, no other project is taking resources away from you. Try any other renderfarm and you'll get massively different results using the same amount of time because they treat several projects at once.

The RANCH is the first authorized V-Ray renderfarm!
The RANCH has become the first - and currently the only - renderfarm approved by Chaos Group for V-Ray rendering with 3ds Max 2009 / 2010. 3ds Max + V-Ray users can count on our fully automated system to render V-Ray 1.50 SP3a animations and still images with incredible speed. The RANCH is using a full 512-core Distributed Rendering system to render high resolution architectural still images with optimal performance, and with the possibility of visually checking the progress of your project. More details in the 3ds Max PDF User Guide.

3ds Max support reaches a new level
The RANCH is now able to render native 3ds Max projects with Mental Ray, V-Ray, Maxwell Render or the Scanline Renderer as render engine. 3ds Max projects with embedded Vue 7.x xStream scenes are also supported, with Mental Ray or V-Ray as the main render engine. More details in the 3ds Max PDF User Guide.

Vue 7.5 xStream on the RANCH
Vue 7 animations and still images are now processed with Vue 7.5 xStream. The new Vue version provides improved multithreading performance and offer new features such as V-Ray support, planetary rendering, camera mapping and cloud alpha. More details in the Vue PDF User Guide.

    Cost Control for Vue 7
This revolutionary feature lets you chose a render time limit for your Vue 7 project. A very useful function which guarantees that you will never exceed your budget! When your project reaches the time limit, you get back the already rendered frames or the partially rendered still image. More details in the Vue PDF User Guide, appendix D.

Render Maxwell animations within 3ds Max
If you are a 3ds Max animator using Maxwell Render as your render engine, you will find very convenient to upload your .max scene instead of numerous .mxs files. More details in the 3ds Max PDF User Guide.

    New animation preview feature
You can now preview your animation frames as thumbnails on your project's web page, while they are being rendered. This works with 3ds Max / Mental Ray / V-Ray, LightWave 3D, Maxwell Render and Vue 7 projects. More details in the 3ds Max, Vue, Maxwell Render, and LightWave 3D PDF User Guide appendices.

New still image preview feature for Maxwell Render
See the progress of your cooperative Maxwell render project while it is being rendered! This unique preview function lets you see a very good approximation of the final image as a 1400 pixels wide (or high) preview, improving with each Sampling Level increase. More details in the Maxwell Render PDF User Guide, appendix C.

    LightWave 3D 9.6 support
The RANCH is now running with the latest 64-bit LightWave 3D 9.6 version.

    Fryrender and Indigo support
The RANCH is still the only renderfarm in the world to support all three major unbiased renderers (Maxwell, Fryrender and Indigo) with unparalleled rendering and merging performance: 128 quad-nodes are guaranteed to work on each project.
